The house we are buying.....

So, we put in an offer on a house and it was accepted today.... HOORAY!!! It is 3 Bedroom, 2.5 Bath with a Bonus room over the garage. It is 1920 square feet on a small lot. Here are the pics (the furniture belongs to the sellers):

As you can see, the Lot is small but nice. The house faces South and the Garage is on the West side, facing the culd-e-sac.

Front of the house

With an awesome porch!!!

The East side of the house.

The back yard - facing West

The Back of the House.

The Back Yard, facing East.

The Garage.... yes, that is grass growing in two strips on the driveway. I'd never seen that before... it's kinda cute!

That brings us back around to the front. Yes, there is a fire hydrant at the bottom of the pic.

Let's go in... shall we???

Awww... The Front door is so cute... and look, they have a piano too.

The view standing in the door way of the front door. You can almost see the powder room (half bath) to the right just after the doorway going into the dining room. There is a little hallway with the powder room on the right and a coat closet on the left.

Looking at the front door from the living room.

The Dining Room

The Kitchen... let's pan-aram

Keep going, right?

One more should do...

There, we are back to the dining room. The three white doors you see on the left are: (going from left to right) a coat closet, the Hot Water Heater room, and the garage.

Let's go upstairs to the bedrooms:

We don't have a pic of the laundry room, but it is at the top of the staircase.

To the left we have the bonus room over the garage.

Still the bonus room.

Over the Kitchen is the Master Bedroom with a walk in closet. There are two windows, on each side of the bed. The windows face North. On the South wall is the Master bathroom with a nice sized garden tub.

Pay no attention to the garden tub behind the curtain.... hehehe.

Down the hall next to the stairs we go to Bedroom 2 which will be the office.
Then there is the second Bathroom

Followed by Elise's room.... equiped with a pink rocking horse. HAHAHA Just kidding. :) I'm sure this room will become a Pirate room... or something.
You have now been on a full tour of our new home. :) We close on October 10, 2008. HOORAY!!!

Our Wedding Ceremony

On Sunday, October 28th, 2007, we got married at Three Ponds Park in Peachtree City, GA.

The Ceremony, by Alex Knudsen; The vows, by Bob and Crystal:

Alec:
Honored Guests, Friends, Family:

We gather together in this place, at this time, to celebrate the joining of two souls. Two hearts. Two lives. To celebrate family, old and new. To celebrate friends yet met, and friendship eternal.
Above all else this day, we gather to celebrate love.
Love many things, for therein lies the true strength, and whatsoever loves much performs much, and can accomplish much, and what is done in love is done well.
All of us gathered today know love, for love is what has brought us together. If you do not know love, then look to Crystal and Robert, for they know love.
Love is patient and kind; Love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. So faith, hope, love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Elise, standing with Bob, and Julie, standing with Crystal, took the rings off of Tigger's (the flower girl/ring bearer) collar. Elise gave Crystal's ring to Bob and Julie gave Bob's ring to Crystal.

Alec:
Through ages past the ring has been a symbol of purity and strength. Of hope and of Love. Devotion and Unity. Now, as in times past, it symbolizes the new life that is about to begin.
Robert, repeat after me:

I, Robert Warren, take you, Crystal Hobza, to be my Wife, as my friend and my love, beside me and apart from me, in laughter and in tears, in conflict and tranquility. On this special day, I promise to love you without reservation, I will honor and respect you, protect you from harm, comfort you in times of distress, grow with you in mind and spirit, and I will always be open and honest with you. I do swear to love and honor you until the day the starts fall from the sky, the world ends, or death takes us.

Bob placed the ring on Crystal's finger and said:

Crystal, May this ring forever be a symbol of my vow that I will honor and love you with all that I am, all that I have, with all my heart.

Alec:
Crystal, do you accept this ring and all that it stands for? Accepting Robert as your friend, your companion, your husband?

Crystal:
I do.

Alec:
Crystal, repeat after me:

I, Crystal Hobza, take you, Robert Warren, to be my Husband, as my friend and my love, beside me and apart from me, in laughter and in tears, in conflict and tranquility.

Crystal placed the ring on Bob's finger and said:

Robert, May this ring forever be a symbol of my vow that I will honor and love you with all that I am, all that I have, with all my heart.

Alec:
Robert, do you accept this ring and all that it stands for? Accepting Crystal as your friend, your companion, your wife?

Robert:
I do.

Alec:
Now you are joined as husband and wife.

At this point, Crystal interjected:
Before the ceremony, each of you were given a ribbon and asked to write a one-word "prayer" or "blessing" on it. We ask that you now come up one at a time and tie these ribbons to our joined wrists. This is where the term "tying the knot" comes from. We will take these blessings and hang them above our bed as a constant reminder of your love and friendship for us.

Each person at the wedding came forth and tied their ribbon to our joined wrists.

Alec:
Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be shelter to the other. Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be warmth to the other. Now there is no more loneliness, for each of you will be companion to the other. Now you are two bodies, but there is only one life before you.

You may kiss.

Go now to your dwelling place. To enter into the days of your togetherness. And may your days be good and long upon the earth.

Ladies and Gentlemen, May I present Mr. and Mrs. Warren.

Here are the pics...

Whew, we both do!!!

We had everyone write a one word "blessing" or "prayer" (like love, happiness, health, kindness, etc.) on a ribbon. During this part we had each of them come up and tie them to our joined hands. Once everyone had tied them onto us, we tied them all together with a bigger ribbon and we put them on our headboard. Here are the pics of the blessings:
